The Umbrella Academy: My Initial Review
February 16, 2019
This is my initial review of The Umbrella Academy and its because I'm still on the 6th episode of the new Netflix series. The series follows 6 extraordinary humans who were adapted by a rich industrialists when these guys were born out of nowhere. The billionaire trained them to become the savior of the world but leads them to hate their known "father."
Upon watching, I'm expecting the "Hero" type series where the main protagonist save people, reveal their powers and fight against evil guys. At first they were introduced to be like that, but later conflicts between character begun and then time travel messed with it. Then, audiences will see the main characters trying to fix issues within themselves as they are facing the upcoming apocalypse.
The story is quite slow as they introduced each character's abilities and dilemma but each episode leave clues on who will be the possible cause of the destruction of the world. It is not a typical superhero series but it got some merit that let you watch each episode and witness how they unravel the whole story of the show.
I don't want to spoil you with how the story went but I recommend that you watch the series. If you want to watch series like this, subscribe to Netflix or visit websites like Telepisodes to find links on where to watch The Umbrella Academy episodes.
