Man have gone through miles of changes in technology. I have remembered when I was very young, we are watching TV shows in black and white television. We are really happy whenever we saw our favorite shows with this two color monochromatic viewing. When the colored TV came, viewing experience became much better as we appreciate the beauty of the real thing shown in a small box.

Today, the technology have gone so far that you can't even remember the old days B&W TV. Now you can watch TV shows online or even watch movies online via different ways. There is that Apple TV which allows you to stream videos. Softwares that let you connect on TV and movie providers via online streaming. This things became possible because of the invention of computers.

I even saw my favorite TV series and movies through this digital means. Some of the series that I have been watching online were the anime Naruto, Bleach and the horror/thriller Supernatural and the exciting crime busting series, CSI (from Las Vegas, New York to Miami).

Entertainment is simply easy today and we owe this to the existence of the small chip head computers.

High-definition television also exists today which allows you to watch anything in high number of pixels making a detailed appearance of every character that you see. Three headed cables right now is replaced by the single headed HDMIs making it very easy to install. Ah, I am just imagining right now what will entertainment world will look like after ten years. We might see a holographic version or 3D televisions that doesn't require wire or cable providers to operate. Oh well, let see what will be in line in the future!

My Aunt-in-Law have been working in London for almost 3 years now and we (I and my wife) usually communicate with her using Facebook and YM. Recently she asked for my advice on what and where to buy a new laptop. I told her that she can place an order through ITC Sales UK Store. I am just wondering what is the perfect gift that I could give to all the people that I most care about. I have usually problems in selecting the right gift for them, not because I can't afford to buy the gift but because I hate shopping so much. Specially during season where shopping malls are so full of shoppers maybe because they have plenty of money to spend during the season (despite the recession). This is the reason why I would prefer buying items online, maybe through eBay or other stores.

Well, if I will be the one to be given by a gift and if I will be asked what I will prefer to give to my loved ones, I will buy the following items for them:

1. Mobile phones. Cellphones will just make any recipient jumps for joy specially if it is a BlackBerry Storm 2, HTC HDC 2 or an iPhone 3GS.

2. Netbook. The introduction of this atom processor driven mobile PC brings any giver an idea of a cheap gadget to give.

3. Toys. Any kid just loved it and through out the time its more effective in getting a smile from them. RCA cars can be a nice choice or a Transformer robot.

4. Animal Pet. A small breed of dog like a shih tzu will really make your girl like it or a cat or a any pet can be a great gift too.

Have you heard these lines for a thousand times?

"Your call is important to us, our service representatives are assisting other calls at the moment. Please stay on the line until a representative becomes available to take your call."

I have called PLDT 24/7 171/172 customer service / DSL helpdesk and for about 10-20 minutes (in several call attempt) I have heard these lines and really annoyed by this. Imagine last night I don't have an internet connection from 6PM till morning and tried to call them and no one could help me. No one is answering their help line. They should removed the hot line and tell their clients that if there are problems with the PLDT DSL connection, "just don't call and wait until it got fixed by itself!" I am really disappointed with this service and unfortunately I have no choice but to stay with this company because they almost (actually all) owned all the lines and source of the internet in the country.

They even bragging about their PLDT Watchpad where you could watch TV shows online which the first time that I could make use of it in the Pacquiao vs. Cotto fight and in my disappointment, it disconnected this morning saying I am offline and check my connection even the 2MBps PLDT connection Excite plan that I have is online. PLDT just don't care about their clients because they know that they don't have any competition at all. They knew that clients don't have any choice but to get their service just to have an internet service at their home. I never thought that this is really happening and how PLDT really sucks as other are saying online and even offline.

How can we have a better internet experience if the provider can't provide it? Even the government don't care about this internet instead they are more concern of their positions and don't make any law that will make a vast improvement in the internet connection of the country. What a life in PLDT DSL! If I just can have other internet connection other than this I will really discontinue this service. It really sucks!

Apple recently released the new version of their phone called iPhone 3GS which supports video recording and faster processor. Millions already shift from this phone but still it is not yet available in the country. I try searching online to see if the said phone is already available but sadly the only provider in the Philippines that sells legally this phone - the Globe Telecommunications, is still does not sell the newest version. I check it on their website and there's nothing information about when will they sell this new phone.

I like that this iPhone 3GS be available in the country and I am just wondering if how much will this will cost in the country. My estimate is about 9K to 12K Philippine Peso based on the international pricing of the said touch phone which is it is only sold to $99.00 only. The $99 price doesn't not include the subscription fee of the user to the telecom network so the user needs to sign for two years lock in period to acquire the said phone.

Now the question, "When will Globe will bring iPhone 3GS in the Philippines?" is still yet to answer later.
