The season 2 of True Blood just concluded and the next season will premiere on HBO on June 13, 2010. True Blood is a sexy vampire story based on the Southern Vampire Mysteries novel. It stars Anna Paquin as Sookie Stackhouse, Stephen Moyer as Bill Compton, Ryan Kwanten as Jason Stackhouse, Sam Trammell as Sam Merlotte, and as Alexander Skarsgård Eric Northman. Its one of the most watched TV series in US having over 5 million viewers per episode.

Now with True Blood Season 3 another series of events will be happening involving Sookie, Bill and Eric. Season three of the series True was officially announced by HBO on July 30, 2009 and is scheduled to debut on Sunday, June 13, 2010 at 9pm.

Well, it will definitely hit another mark to the chart of most watched TV series today. Vampires are seems so 'IN' today in TV or even in movies just like the highly anticipated vampire movie, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse movie based on Stephenie Meyer's novel.

I have said on my recent post that I'll bring my kid to watch Shrek Forever After and now our next target on theaters which he keeps on asking me every single day if it already released on theaters is the 3rd sequel of the animated film featuring Buzz and Woody. I am referring to our plans to watch Toy Story 3 on June 18, 2010.

Pixar are really producing lovely films that really heighten the interest of my kid to watch on dark theaters and not afraid of the dark places. It also shows some good values that both delivers good traits and great entertainment for my child. This is the reason why I am patronizing this film and even recommend it to my friends out there.

That's right! This will be the movie that will clash on the theaters this coming week. Sex and The City 2 which is the sequel of the summer hit TV series turn into film will be head to head hitting the theaters on the same date of the US release of Jake Gyllenhaal film adaptation of the famous classic game Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.

Both of this film will be showing on May 28, 2010. SATC2 stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon while Prince of Persia stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Gemma Arterton, Ben Kingsley and Alfred Molina.

They have different target audiences and personally I will  prefer to watch Prince of Persia than the SATC2. I like action than comedy where lead characters are funny and "fashionistas."  I personally believe that most of the people that will watch SATC2 are fans of the series which most of them are women. Correct me if I'm wrong but that's how I assess the said film.

On the other POP will be watched by the game addicts who expects too much from the film and as Jake said for kids who loves "Indiana Jones" like movies. Well let see if the box office chart will sing the same song as I have sing. :)

That's right Robin Hood vs. Iron Man 2 on WBO (weekend box office) got a result already and it shows that the classic recreation of Robin Hood wasn't able to earn enough to beat down the Marvel super hero Iron Man 2 film. On the estimated earning for the weekend opening of the movie, Robin Hood only earned about $37 million to fall only on the 2nd place of the chart against the additional earning made in the weekend by Iron Man 2 adding a solid $53 million.

Now why is it that it can't make it to the top as Iron Man 2 did? Well, people don't expect much on the usual Robin Hood, arrow, thief and classic "brave heart" hero thing and they want to see something new and some critics said that the latter didn't deliver enough to make the same interest as Iron Man 2 have.

Honestly, I wasn't able to watch it yet and planning to watch it. I like movies like this and I like how Russell Crowe handle a role and I believe that this movie deserve great praise.

Its been our "tradition" at home to watch movies like Shrek together in theaters and this year since, the last and final book for Shrek will be opened this coming weekend, we are planning to watch the film together again. Shrek Forever After or also known as Shrek The Final Chapter or  Shrek 4  is the 4th sequel of the popular comedy fairy tale story of an ogre. As far as I could remember the story of Shrek changes how children looks fairy tale. Imagine an "ugly" (sorry for the use of the word) and green creature is the lead character of the "happy ever after" story.

Now, I am planning to watch Robin Hood too later this week right before watching Shrek with my son and wife. With Robin Hood movie, I don't know if my wife would love to watch this kind of movie. He prefers to watch Letters to Juliet by Amanda Seyfried - a love story rather than blood action epic story of Russell Crowe. Women really got different taste when it comes to movies. But we have something in common when it comes to bringing joy to the face our kid and that is letting him to watch the ogre and the donkey. :)

I am really into boxing rather than mixed martial arts (MMA) but when I watched the UFC 113 yesterday, my interest to the said kind of sports triggered and that's the reason I am discussing about it. I know its quite bloody compared to boxing but I really found it very exciting and blood boiling.

Now, enough with the yacking and lets go to what you have looking for. UFC 114: Rampage vs. Evans will be happening on MGM Grand, Las Vegas Nevada this coming May 29th at 10PM ET. It will feature UFC light  heavy weight champions Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and “Suga” Rashad Evans - the two great rivals who have been exchanging trashed talks for more than times you can think of.

Starting today, I will be monitoring different MMA events and watch out for it!

I watched Iron Man 2 on a 2D theater and really found it excited. I even bring my son to watch it and he really enjoy the different feeling. It was his first time to watch movies on a dark theater. :)

Now I finished watching the film satisfied with how Iron Man 2 goes but what I have something that I am looking from the movie. I missed something or did I just go to the bathroom and misses that scene. No I did not! I really miss something. Specifically the scene from the trailer where Pepper kissed the helmet of Iron Man which is actually awkward 'coz the helmet shouldn't be removable. It is found on the previous trailer of Iron Man 2.

I will confirm this feeling and watch Iron Man 2 online later tonight. They might have removed it for some reasons.

My next stop to theaters this coming week will be Robin Hood by Russell Crowe and direction of Ridley Scott. I might watch Robin Hood online too whenever its available which always happens.

I really love how Russell Crowe played the role of Maximus in Gladiator and how Ridley Scott directed the said film. That's why when I've heard that they've reunited to produce the film Robin Hood, I am really excited about it and waiting the said movie to be shown in local theaters in our place. However, I need to wait until they will released it which is according to Telepisodes.com, it will be released  by May 14, 2010. Actually the movie's theme is just almost the same with tone of other Robin Hood films. Robin is a thief who is a marksman a sharp shooter and a hero of their village.

Its the same thing with this 2010 version, Robin is leading his village to fight against the injustice of the leaders of their village. Its a classic battle of bow and arrow, castles and catapults with Robin Hood.

Now possible options that I could do if I just can't really wait is to watch Robin Hood online. Its free on Telepisodes.com according to them and will wait for its video streaming when available.

Fall in love with this newest love story film by Amanda Seyfried star of the 2009 suspense thriller Chloe and part of horror film, Jennifer's Body. Watch Letters to Juliet if you want to feel and hear the love in the air. The story of this movie surrounds with Sophie who decided to become a cupid of a two old lovers after she finds the love letter in Verona Italy - the setting of the Romeo and Juliet story.

In this event of helping the author of the letter, she finds a new love which complicates things because she's already engage. But love will find a way and I guess the movie will show it to us.

SO if you're one of those who wants to watch a romantic movie from Summit Entertainment (producer of the Twilight Saga movies) right before the 2010 summer hit Sex and the City 2 then Letters to Juliet is right for you.

I usually like comedy films but if I will be asked what to prefer to watch a horror movie or a comedy, I will prefer the first one. I am into shocking scenes rather than laughing out so loud. But there are times that I love to watch films.

Now with Sex and The City 2 hitting the theaters this coming May 27, 2010, I am wondering if I will watch it with my wife on theaters or not. To be honest, I am not into the series and I don't even watched its previous movie part. Maybe I am not really a fan of the main stars of the film - Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis, and Kim Cattrall.


What do you think about this newest sequel? Will you watch Sex and The City 2 or not? Will it hit the box office hard just as its predecessor or just flop like other sequels of comedy films. Well based on what I have searched on the net regarding the film, it seems that fans are really anticipating this film and the producer of this film is expecting a high return to this movie.

Well let see if that happens.
