Magic is said to be the act of altering things either by supernatural means or through knowledge of hidden natural laws unknown to science. In this fictional city in the Kingdom of Camelot, magic is intense and expressed. If you are fond of watching fantasy-adventure television shows, you’ll surely love the story of Merlin.

Aired every Saturday night, 7:30 PM on BBC 1, the television series Merlin is based on the Arthurian Legends of the mythical wizard Merlin (Colin Morgan) and his relationship with Prince Arthur, but differs from traditional versions of the legend in many ways, especially the characters. Merlin is a young teenage sorcerer who discovered and learned how to master his gift of magic through the help of the court physician, Magister Gaius (Richard Wilson). Gaius, the learned court physician of King Uther Pendragon (Anthony Head) to whom he’s assigned as humble page, teaches Merlin medicine, coaches his magical self-study and warns him for Uther’s vicious aversion from magic. Merlin then became squire to the noble but imprudent crown prince, Arthur, whose fate is linked with him. Set in the Kingdom of Camelot, follow the story of young Merlin’s dangerous journey as he, Prince Arthur (Bradley James) and other characters come face to face with legendary and fantastical foes and forces.
